Supporting the Nurturing Work of The Storehouse, Covington Food Bank
The Icon Real Estate Group believes that truly serving our community extends far beyond helping people find their perfect home. Giving back is a core value that guides everything we do, and that’s why I’m incredibly proud to announce that the Icon Real Estate Group staff and brokers once again spent our annual service day volunteering at The Storehouse, Covington Food Bank.
The Storehouse is a vital nonprofit doing incredible work right here in our community. Their mission—”to serve our neighbors, who are struggling with, or are vulnerable to food insecurity, by providing nourishing food, prayer, and referrals to other services”—resonates deeply with our team. They are not just handing out food; they are providing hope, support, and resources to improve the overall quality of life for our neighbors. As they say, their vision is to improve the quality of life for their neighbors beyond food security, operating under the beautiful motto: “love until they ask why.”
We were back again this year, with our team had the privilege of collecting, sorting, and organizing food that went on to serve local families in need. It was a humbling and rewarding experience to see the impact of our collective effort, and we were so lucky to be able to do it again this year. Our brokers and staff volunteered their time to help with the essential, hands-on tasks that keep The Storehouse running smoothly and ensure food gets to the tables where it is needed most.
